Since its incorporation in 1989 through 2018, the NY Grace LeGendre Endowment Fund Inc (GLEF) has awarded over $166,000 in fellowships to 153 NYS women who were working toward a Master’s or a Doctorate at an accredited New York State college or university.
Fellowships are awarded annually for graduate study to qualified women. In the Spring of 2019 GLEF will award three Fellowships, each in the amount of two thousand dollars.
Individuals who wish to be considered for a GLEF Fellowship must be a woman who is a United States citizen, a resident of New York State, have a Bachelor's degree, be currently enrolled (and have already completed at least one semester) in an advanced graduate degree program at an accredited New York State college or university, show evidence of scholastic ability and a need for financial assistance, and anticipate graduation no later than 2021.

The completed application and all ancillary material must be mailed to the Fellowship Chair and postmarked no later than February 28,2019.
