About the Grace Legendre Endownment

The NY Grace LeGendre Endowment Fund, Inc. (GLEF) was approved in 1987 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation to provide a permanent funding source to support fellowships, research and training for New York State women. Through 2023, it has awarded over $198,500 in fellowships to New York State women enrolled in graduate study programs. Starting in 2004, GLEF has awarded fourteen Special Grants to organizations to sponsor educational or research opportunities that further the advancement of working women.

Grace Legendre Endowment - Fellowships

The NY Grace LeGendre Endowment Fund, Inc. awards Fellowships to NYS women who are candidates for masters or doctoral degrees at colleges and universities throughout NYS. A total of $6500 in Fellowships will be awarded in 2024 and submitted applications are currently under review. The Application Form for the 2025 Fellowships wil beavailable in Fall 2024.
